Cruise Time!

Dragging through my first 12 weeks of life has really been stressful. All this sleeping and eating and playing has really taken a toll. You should see all my wrinkles (ok, maybe those are baby fat rolls...but who's counting) and gray hair (well, maybe not really gray.) Anyway, I can sure use a vacation. Fortunately, thanks to my grandpa, that's exactly what I got.

Mommy and daddy and I packed up just about every one of my belongings and headed down to Miami to go on a Carribean Cruise for a week. It was lots of fun being around so much of my family, and I really enjoyed the cruise...did I mention that it was all-you-can-eat! I'm sure daddy will write about the cruise on one of HIS web pages, but I'll just go over the highlights for me here.

Grandpa invited his entire family on the cruise, so I got to meet a few new people this week. Now that I'm around, Alex and Matthew are no longer the youngest in the family (HAH!). Here I am with Alex, rubbing it in.

For me, one of the cruise highlights was dinner. I really looked forward to going to the dining room, and ordering up a feast. Here I put on my best smile, so daddy would order me something good.

Before the food came, we would all play a little to pass the time. Here mommy and I discuss the wine selection.

Unfortunately, since we had the late sitting, I was usually passed out before the food made it to the table. Rats! Foiled again!

One of the best things about the cruise was that I got to use a whole new wardrobe. Grandpa had bought me a bunch of clothes earlier this year, and some of mommy's friends lent us some clothes too. Here was one of my favorites.

Hey! You're in my sun!.

I couldn't find the topless sun deck on the cruise ship, but that wasn't going to stop me from sun bathing the way nature intended! I mean seriously, look how pale I am...I need some sun!

I mostly stayed on the ship, but sometimes we would head onto the islands. Mommy and daddy usually kept me in my stroller so that I wouldn't get sunburned. Here we are on the way back to the ship.

One of my favorite days was when we went to Jamaica. Everybody in the family was wearing their Birthday Cruise t-shirt, including me! Of course, I looked the cutest in mine!

Here was one of stops in Jamaica in Fern Gulley. But, since we weren't at a beach, I decided to stay in my seat.

Well, I'm running out of room on this page...so we'll have to start another one. Click HERE to see pictures from the rest of the cruise.
