Being half way through Kindergarten means that I'm really growing up fast. Mommy and Daddy still get misty eyed when they see my social skills blooming and my academic capabilities expanding. I have a ton of sight words that I recognize now, and I'm reading simple books. Plus, I'm having lots of fun being popular in my class (I try not to rub it in too much). Plus, I'm really starting to get the hang of this skiing thing. Enjoy the pics.

I still look forward to cake and ice-cream at birthday parties, but it's all about socialization nowadays. Here I am with some of my kindergarten friends.

Daddy spent a lot of time this winter taking me skiing. And it finally paid off. It was fun going with daddy and taking lessons, but it was even more fun going with one of my best friends, Emma.

I was very excited about using the ski lift by myself (plus I finally beat daddy up the mountain).

Of course, I forgot that I would have to get OFF the lift by myself as well...

But once I was on the ground, things went fine.

In March, the family was together to celebrate Grandma Emma's birthday. Daddy told me to smile, but I had to keep my eye on the prize....mmm...chocolate.

Everybody celebrate! Time for Amy and I to hit the dance floor!

Springtime is almost here, and I'll be a first grader in no time. Check back soon.
