Sum Sum Summertime....Sum Sum Summertime...swimming, icecream, and fun with my friends. Oh yeah, this is definitely one of my favorite times of the year. This summer was a lot of fun. I had a great time at camp, I went to the beach a couple of times, and I was super excited that I passed my deep water test at the local pool - yeah - I get to jump off the diving board NOW! Enjoy the pics.

I took a bunch of swimming lessons over the winter, and a few more during the summer. All of this practice must have paid off, as I earned my deep water certification (I had to swim a lap and tread water for 60 seconds). The payoff was getting to jump off the diving board. Ye-Hah!

I had a new friend to swim with this summer, my cousing AMY. She is doing great in the pool too.

The pool is fun, but the beach is even better. My favorite beach is Virginia Beach. I did my best to evaluate ALL of the ice cream establishments in town...

At the beach, Daddy helped me learn how to boogie board. It was more fun when he helped push me in the water, but I liked trying by myself too.

Even though I prefer being outside, I still enjoy spending time with the family. I even got an extra special surprise this Summer when my great grandmother decided to move closer. Yeah Granny!

Summertime is picnic time too. Here I hang out with my buddy Max at daddy's company picnic. Sweet...maybe next year they'll have a loop-d-loop.
