Spring time is great, school is wrapping up, I get to play outside a little more, and I get to do lots of fun stuff. Second grade is keeping me very busy, working on my Advanced Math and taking care of my caterpillar / butterfly. Plus I'm continuing to work on my gymnastics, tap dancing, violin, and Aikido (yes, my schedule is pretty packed. Enjoy the pics!
Mommy was very busy throughout the school year organizing the Jewish Youth Group events. She did a great job, and there were big crowds at all the events. The last event of the year was a trip to the Frederick Keys game in April. It was fun hanging with my friends and seeing ourselves on the jumbo tron. And it was really cool when this white round thing fell out of the sky and landed at my feet.
The spring time is a great time to get with my friends and raise some money. This spring my MS Walk team walked in Rockville. Just the thought of California Tortilla at the finish line kept my legs moving strong!
One of the coolest things that I did this spring was my trip to the White House. Mommy and Daddy's friend Drew took us on a private tour of the West Wing. I even got to sit in Obama's seat in the Situation Room (unfortunately Drew wouldn't let me play on Sasha and Malia's playground though). I'd tell you more, but I've been sworn to secrecy - you know it's a Nationaly Security matter.
May means Mother's Day and I love to celebrate. Fortunately mommy likes a lot of the same things that I like. I learned this from Molto Mario.
Back at school, the end of the school year means the party to learning ratio increases significantly. Plus more parties means more hanging with my friends, like Gabby.
At the end of May, my cousin Courtney became a Bat Mitzvah. She did a great job, and it was fun hanging with her and some of my other cousins!
So mommy, my Bat Mitzvah party will be as nice as Courtney's, right?
