Wow, this summer is really moving, and we've been having lots of fun. Daddy had to go to Virginia Beach for work, so he took me and mommy with him, and while he was working mommy and I got to play. The most exciting part of the summer so far was my tap dance recital - I hope you had a chance to see it on YouTube. Anyway, I'm having fun at camp and enjoying swimming. Hope to see you soon.
One of the nice parts of Virginia Beach is the great boardwalk. Daddy and I took advantage by rollerblading.
After 6 months of Tap Dance class, we were ready for the big show. Part of the fun was getting dressed up in Costume. Here, Madeline and I work on our posing.
The recital went great, and I had lots of fun performing on stage.
For Father's Day, daddy took me out on the lake behind our house. At first, it was tough, but eventually I got the hang of paddling. Maybe I'll be out on the river soon.
At the end of the month, we went to the beach again for a few days, but this time we went with Uncle Dan and Amy, and my friends Emma and Ray. It was lots of fun hanging with my friends on the beach. Here I show Amy how to be a beach babe!
Daddy wouldn't let us go out for ice cream until we took a decent picture.
Yes, we're here for the sand castle construction gig!
Whoops, I think something went wrong with the castle - better find the architect!
Hopefully I'll get to the beach at least one more time this summer. Hope you're having lots of fun too.
