As summer starts, I am really looking forward to Summer Camp, swimming, and eventually starting THIRD GRADE. The end of the school year means fun, but it also represents the finale for a lot of my activities. Specifically, my tap dance class recital and even my Yellow Belt test in Aikido!

My Tap Dance group was small this year (just me and Madeline). Daddy took a video of the performance (we'll have a better one soon.)

Of course it was lots of fun performing with Madeline. And fun posing for pics with her too!

Of course, sometimes I like to pose by myself!

Grandma (Emma) came into town for my recital, and then Daddy and I went to the beach with her. My cousins Amy and Samantha were there too, and my cousins Jackson and Alexa even stopped by one evening.

OK Dad - put down the camera and come out in the water and help me surf!

Uncle Dan told me about this cool place in Ocean City called the Jolly Roger - and while daddy was distracted eating his Fisher's Popcorn, I convinced Uncle Dan to take me there!

The beach was lots of fun, and a great way to celebrate the end of the school year. Back at home, I had one more test. This time for my Yellow Belt in Aikido. After about 9 months of classes, I was pretty confident that I was ready. And eventually the whole class passed!

Following Aikido, I needed a break and some way to cool down, so on July 4th, we headed for the pool and had fun with the Plotnick's and Tanenholz's.
