December is always fun. With Hanukkah, Winter Break, and New Years. Things kind of slow down and we get to spend more time together, so that is always great. School is fun, and we got to have some holiday celebrations and activities. Plus, I was looking forward to the big New Year's party as well.
I really like my school, and before Winter Break, the entire Kindergarten had the opportunity to make gingerbread houses. Mommy came in to school to help me (although it may have been better to have daddy's engineering skills), and we had lots of fun decorating my house.
The candy is the best part!
During winter break, I got to do lots of fun things around the house. Here I help daddy make pizza.
Daddy and I spent Christmas Day on the slopes. For the first time, I didn't take a lesson (this was my third day of skiing already). Daddy and I spent the whole day skiing on the beginner slopes, and I did very well, following daddy down the mountain. I just wish daddy would stop complaining about having to use skis instead of a snowboard.
I had two chances during December to spend time with my cousin Amy. She sure is getting big. During one of the trips we celebrated Amy's baby naming. I sure feel old when I'm around her!
At the end of the year, we celebrated New Year's Eve with a big sleep over party at the Plotnicks. The kids had fun playing while the adults ate a serious dinner. The night was fun, although, I was very embarrassed by daddy's goofy antics.
2007 was another great year. I graduated from pre-school and started Kindergarten. I learned to ski. I had lots of fun at summer camp. I made a bunch of new friends. And I learned a ton of new stuff. I'm looking forward to 2008 and all the fun and new stuff I'll learn. I hope everyone had a wonderful new year and I hope you all have a great 2008.
