Wow, I'm still recovering from my birthday party, but, being one year old is tons of fun. Mommy and daddy are taking me to lots of new places, and I'm having lots of fun walking around and playing outside. I'm definitely starting to understand what mommy and daddy are saying, although, I still choose to ignore them (often). The doctor said that I can eat "anything", so mommy and daddy now let me eat with them at dinner. Some things have been good, but others I could go without. I'm done with formula, and now I just drink milk or water. My hair is growing longer too, and often is "out of control" as mommy and daddy like to say. I can't wait for it to get longer so I can really show off all my curls. Enjoy my pictures!
Now that I am doing some serious walking, mommy and daddy got me some new shoes. Here I lace them up in my new dress.
The weekend after my birthday party, I went to a local festival with mommy and daddy. I had fun running around with mommy and checking out some bubbles!
Daddy even tried to teach me how to swing dance. Here daddy tries to lead me into a turn. (I think he was just trying to keep me away from that sailor).
Next week, we went up to Baltimore to celebrate Rosh Hashana. I got to play with my grandma and great-grandma. Here I take them for a walk.
Do I have to provide ALL the entertainment? It sure seems that way.
Back at home I was having problems deciding what to wear. Should I wear my pajamas and shoes, or just go au natural in my diaper?
After celebrating Rosh Hashana, mommy and daddy took me to the local orchard the next day. We had fun picking apples (well, mommy and daddy picked, and I ate!) We also looked at some pumpkins, but I had trouble deciding which one I wanted.
I finally found one that I wanted, but daddy said that I could only have one that I could carry. DOWT!
When I got home, I told my friend Mel what daddy said. Mel gave me a big kiss and told me not to drink out of the toilet. I'm not sure what that meant, but hey, why complain about free advice.
